"All About Horses" Monday 10-11am

Service Description

This unit study will give a general overview of horses including their anatomy, behavior, diet, and care. Students will learn about how different equines are classified, how horses communicate, what goes into caring for them, and much more. Each week will include getting hands-on with our horses, grooming, feeding, and even walking them. There are also horseback riding sessions which can be added on for an additional fee. The class meets once a week for four weeks, and each class runs roughly an hour long. The cost is $65 per student, due before the start date of class. This cost is nonrefundable. If you miss a class, we will offer you a makeup session. We keep class size around 10 students to make sure everyone has a good experience. This class is recommended for ages 6+ because younger children may struggle with attention span for the hour long lesson. If you have a younger child you think would be interested and not have a problem sitting through an hour long class, you are welcome to sign them up. The material is adapted for different age levels, so we group classes by age. If you sign up for a class outside of your child's age range, we will reschedule you or, if none of our other times work, cancel your registration.
