While taking a solo retreat in a cabin, tucked away in 100 acres of woods I discovered a beautiful patch of wild berries, ripe and ready to eat. Each summer when I return to gather berries, the patches become even more abundant.
Picking berries and making jam is meditative for me and I hope that feeling of peace – and flavor of the outdoors – comes through in every batch.
